Circus Covered was started and is run by Yuliya and Vasyl, an aerial duo. We are two circus artists who found ourselves with a lot of circus equipment that does not fit in standard luggage. Because our equipment is our livelihood we realized we needed to properly protect it during our frequent travels. Having sewing and design skills we decided to make our own bags. From previous experience we knew the bags needed to be waterproof, padded, and fit the dimensions as not to be charged for oversize in airports. So we set to work; learning along the way how to make ergonomic backpack straps, complex pockets, how to add wheels to our bags. As there was nothing comparable on the market, we started selling our bags, beginning with our innovative aerial hoop bag. Since then we have made bags for pole, duo trapeze, teardrop trapeze as well as gym bags designed especially for circus artists. We are always innovating our techniques and perfecting our bags so that they're comfortable, convenient and offer the best protection for the equipment that protects you.
